Apex Legends Update

Bug fixes and reducing crashes.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Apex Legends just got a fresh update (view patch notes on reddit) and it brings such good news.

Apex acquired 25 million players in about two weeks after a surprise game-launch. We can all assume that there’s probably going to be some kinks to be worked out, some big, some small, but kinks nonetheless.

The main issue many Apex players have right now seems to come from crashes and glitches.

Of course, there’s a lot of players that want to see balance changes, but if I could guess the one thing that users would want more than anything, it’d be stability.

If you’re like me and this is the only thing you’re playing right now, you probably know how frustrating it is when you or a teammate drops out of the game unexpectedly. A slur of cursewords in discord. Apologies. Confusion. DESPAIR. All from lack of stability.

We know how heavily reliant this game is on team work. In order to win, having a fully stacked team is really really helpful. Sometimes this experience can (often frequently) be ruined by an unexpected crash.

Respawn Entertainment has put out a variety of small updates to mend glitches with the map and the supply ships, in addition to a few performance tweaks, but hopefully this will be the update that removes the plague of crashes.

Furthermore, Respawn finally saved the day for players experiencing the slow-walk glitch after being revived. A bug that essentially turned you character into a snail, forcing a quit, or more likely, an embarrassing fatality in the game.
